For those of  you who know I lived in India – don’t worry – no one is sick. 😉

I want to start this out by saying that I am a wee bit hesitant to write this post because I don’t want to come across as tooting my own horn. Believe me, I own a horn and will toot it – but this post is soooo not about that. Anytoot, here goes……

Today I was in the grocery store parking lot and I had just unloaded my cart. This very nice man says to me, “I’ll take that for you.”

I was really surprised and said thanks. Then I told him that I often do that for other people but that I don’t think anyone has e.v.e.r. done it for me.

He laughed and said, “I actually saw you do it for someone the other day and that is why I wanted to do it for you.”

Seriously, it almost brought a tear to my eye – and, yes, I know that sounds like a ridiculous over-reaction. But think about it. I did something nice and then someone else did something nice.

And it was right after the checkout clerk expressed shock that I am not only no longer 21 but am actually 21 times 2. She even put her glasses on to make sure she was reading my i.d. correctly.

Today is going to be a good, good day.

I’d say it has already been a good good day and is headed for an amazing day. I had a similar incident recently but it didn’t quite work out that way )-: I’ll be posting on it in due time for it’s related to my current series…
But days like how yours has gone so far are encouraging, thanks for sharing
…and go ahead and toot. You deserve it
