Lola – it does seem bad right now in the U.S. Maybe a few God Bless Yous would help. hee hee
Mamabear – not too many excuse me’s either.
Me – yeah – religious folks are usually the ones who say it because folk lore tells us that sneezing releases to evil spirits from our body – so a God Bless is in order – but I don’t hear it here.
Loco – it was funny – one day I was sneezing my head off and there were about 5 men in my house – no one even flinched – much less blessed me. it was a bummer.
Hmm…they don’t say god bless you…but my mother in law says “jai” (bless you) to my son when he sneezes. So I guess it’s a language thing, and usually only religious folks say it.

God bless you… In Gujarati– I know you are very far from gujarat– “Khumma” means bless you.. not sure what they say in Delhi…
You wouldn’t get that many “excuse me” either do you?
Oh, please, you probably wouldn’t get one of those here in the states lately. Everyone is way too cranky!
Tottsmom and Settlers – thank you!

God Bless you.
