One of the first posts I wrote when we moved to India was about the beautiful trees in Lodhi Gardens. India has some wonderful trees!
If I had ever heard of a banyan tree before we moved to India, I had completely forgotten.
I will never forget this tree…………..

Yes, If you have ever seen one they are hard to forget. I saw my first in Hawaii. On a side note, I am alone for the next three days, just me and the dog. My Honey took my three kids to see his Mom. First time in AT LEAST 12 years that I have been home alone all by myself, no kids, no husband, nobody. Kinda scary, Kinda wonderful. Guess I had better get started on the taxes.

That is an awesome tree. Truly awesome!
My five year old wants to know:
“So … would I get in trouble if I climbed that tree?”

Badass – it rocked – I’d love to see the pictures you would take of it – you would do it much more justice.
Tottsmom – Enjoy yourself! The taxes can wait! Just file an extension now and enjoy some Tottsmom time!
Naomi – There is a great one at the school too – right on the playground – I really don’t know if you can climb them – maybe a reader knows – I do know you can swing on the branches – at least until your mother sees you and tells you to stop – don’t even ask how I know that one.
Kathleen – hello to you too – we are very glad we went to the zoo – for a number of reasons.

Loco – hey welcome back! It is the awesomest!
Pam – welcome back to you too – don’t we need a few of these in the glen? I think the winters might be too rough on them
